By downloading, installing, or using Midday, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use Midday.

Description of Service

Midday is a self-hosted email client application that allows you to manage your email accounts through IMAP connections. Midday provides features including email organization, OTP detection, and email categorization.

Midday is provided "as is" and is currently in beta. Features and functionality may change without notice.

Self-Hosted Software

Midday is self-hosted software that runs on your device or private server. You are responsible for:

• Installing and configuring Midday on your system
• Maintaining the security of your device or server
• Ensuring compliance with your email provider's terms of service
• Backing up your data

Midday is not responsible for any data loss, security breaches, or issues arising from your hosting or configuration of the software.

Beta Period

Midday is currently in beta. During the beta period:

• The software may contain bugs or errors
• Features may change or be removed without notice
• Data loss may occur—you should maintain backups
• Support may be limited

You use Midday during the beta period at your own risk.

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use Midday only for lawful purposes
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Respect your email provider's terms of service
• Not use Midday to send spam, phishing emails, or malicious content
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials

Third-Party Services

Midday connects to third-party email providers and may use third-party APIs (such as Anthropic's API for OTP detection). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

Midday is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

Disclaimer of Warranties

MIDDAY IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. MIDDAY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MIDDAY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF MIDDAY.
